Fine Dining with Stunning Views! We are located on the Deschutes River between Tumwater Falls Park & Tumwater Historical Parks and overlooking the famous Tumwater/Deschutes River Falls. Whether you are dining in our main dining room, spacious lounge with outdoor deck views or entertaining in our Banquet room you are sure to have a pleasant and memorable experience. While visiting us why not take a quarter mile walk on either side of the river to the lower falls. See salmon fish ladders built along the river's edge, where Chinook & Coho move upstream to the fish hatchery in October & early November. Enjoy the woods and marshlands, the birds and wildlife and a view of the historic brick brew-house, built in 1906 for Leopold Schmidt. Also nearby is the Henderson House Museum 602 Deschutes Way SW. The Henderson House was built in 1905 for a brewmaster at the Olympia Brewing Company and features a second story turret, an original kitchen, an early 20th century bathroom and historic photos and a video about Tumwater. Another nearby landmark is the Historic Crosby House, 703 Deschutes Way SW. An early Tumwater pioneer named Nathaniel Crosby III built this home in 1858 for his bride, Cordelia Jane Smith. (Grandparents to the famous singer & entertainer, Bing Crosby) It is one of the oldest wood framed houses in the State and houses a grand piano that came by ship around Cape Horn. |
